Navigating Ethics in the Engineering Industry
Engineers will encounter many situations involving ethical questions during their careers. In order to improve their ability to make ethical decisions, engineers require additional tools and training.
This is particularly true for young engineers, who often don’t have the confidence or experience to recognise when something isn’t quite right or share their opinions in high pressure situations, particularly when faced with having to challenge more senior colleagues.
So how do young professionals find their voice in high pressure situations?
During this webinar, speakers will explore the following topics:
Ethical decision making: What it means to you, why it is important, and how decisions should be made
Learning how to understand and respond to challenges in professional situations
What they themselves have learnt (including real life examples), and how young engineers can apply those learnings when faced with similar situations.
