Cyber Attack Preparedness for Post-COVID Priorities in Healthcare

During the COVID pandemic, cybercriminals increasingly targeted healthcare systems and supply chains working on the global response. Using well-known tactics at unprecedented levels, healthcare organizations were faced with never-before-seen levels of intrusion attempts, potential intellectual property loss and supply chain disruption. While the COVID response is ongoing, we continue to maintain vigilance and leverage lessons learned to protect patients entrusted to our support. During this webinar, we will examine some of the tactics used by cybercriminals, and discuss proactive cyber preparedness planning for a post-COVID world.

Dana-Megan Rossi leads the global cybersecurity threat management program at BD. Her work focuses on strategic and tactical security operations and initiatives, collaborations and regional programs to enhance security to customers by design, in use and through partnership. She works closely with industry stakeholders and governments on proactive measures to address the cyber risk, mitigation strategies, and preparedness. Ms. Rossi currently serves as the Health Care and Public Health Sector Chief for FBI’s InfraGard for the National Capital Region.
